Waimarino Education Trust provides OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) for New Zealand school children, a unique EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom) outdoor experience to the wider educational community (including schools, tertiary and other educational groups) and to develop confidence through participation in outdoor activities.
Waimarino has been providing schools with excellent kayaking & adventure based learning programmes for decades, providing programmes for up to 350 classes every summer. Waimarino employs industry trained and qualified instructors to safely lead & facilitate all of our exciting and educational school programmes.

Our award-winning out of school programme provides everything a kiwi kid could want. We cater for children between 5 and 14 years of age and our programmes are eligible for WINZ subsidies. After School Care children enjoy transport from school, a nourishing afternoon tea and then supervised activities in the adventure park including kayaking, low-ropes course, ball games, drift trikes, shooting and many more fun activities.
Holiday Programme children enjoy Waimarino Park Days onsite and Adventure Days out and about doing activities including Luging, fishing, Tramp Park, mini golf, nature walks and many more.
