Park Fun Day
Come and enjoy all of the Adventure Park activities including; Kayaks, Stand up Paddle Boards, Diving Boards, Hydro Slide, UFO, Gladiator pole, BLOB. Included in the fun
day is our dry activities such as beach volleyball, low rope course & rock climbing.
3D Team Challenge
This programme is the ultimate test of a group’s strategic decision making abilities, group awareness, communication skills and time management skills. The objective is to select and complete the particular challenges most suited to your team’s strengths. Every team member will be required to contribute their individual talents towards their team’s final score in this head to head team competition.
The River Hop
A true New Zealand adventure!! Walk, scramble & swim in one of NZ’s favorite river rafting rivers without (most of) the water. The water from the river is diverted through a canal from hydrodammed Lake McLaren, leaving the riverbed mostly dry, but with some deep long pools. Communication and teamwork is a crucial requirement for this activity. Our experienced guides will lead you on a safe, educational adventure through the Wairoa River.
The SUP Board Adventure
A great introduction to the lower reaches of the Wairoa River! Have your class step onto the water with our range of SUPs for a fun filled trip down the river. The programme
will be filled with paddle board lessons, games and of course water safety skills. The programme is followed by time in the Adventure Park.
Big Kanu Glowworm Tour
Paddle together in one of our BIG Kanus to the Glow Worm canyon to view the incredible constellations while floating
through the canyon in complete darkness. The group will learn about the life cycle and biological environment of the fascinating New Zealand Fungus Gnat.
Flat Water Kayaking
This programme gives your group a true river journey experience on the Wairoa River. Launching from the Omanawa River, you are guided along a 7.5km scenic flat water paddle back to Waimarino Adventure Park.
Stopping en route to enjoy lunch by the
river before engaging in team-building challenges that require interdependence, problem solving skills, decision making, leadership and co-operation.
